The Date

We thought you might like to know why we chose the 27th July 2002 for our wedding date.

Kerry's parents, aunt & uncle and grandparents all shared the wedding anniversay of the 28th June. When we first got engaged, we planned to continue the tradition.

However, a two and a half year engagement seemed such a long time to wait, and so we brought the date forward.

Instead we chose the 27th July as it is Matt & Nix's (Kerry's brother & sister-in-law, pictured) wedding anniversary. This also fitted in well because we couldn't possibily get married within the football season! (well Chris thinks so anyway!)

Thank you to Matt & Nix for letting us share in your special day. We really have no excuse for forgetting each other's anniversary!

Perhaps it will start a new tradition...
